Buy Low Vaults allow users to purchase assets (WETH) at a future price lower than the current market rate. Here are two scenarios:
Linked Price Reached: On the Expiration Date, if the market price for Ethereum at the time of expiration is at or below the Linked Price, the Subscriber will receive WETH at the Linked Price plus the yield accrued in WETH.
Linked Price Not Reached: On the Expiration Date, if the current market price for Ethereum at the time of expiration is at or above the Linked Price, then the Subscriber can withdraw the deposited USDC plus the yield accrued in USDC.
Sell High Vaults allow users to sell assets (WETH) at a future price higher than the current market rate. Here are two scenarios:
Linked Price Reached: On the Expiration Date, if the current market price at time of expiration for WETH is at or above the Linked Price, the Subscriber will receive USDC at the Linked Price plus the yield accrued in USDC
Linked Price Not Reached: On the Expiration Date, if the current Pyth Network oracle price at time of expiration for WETH is at or below the Linked Price, then the Subscriber can withdraw the deposited WETH plus the yield accrued in WETH.
