# Welcome to Prodigy.Fi

Prodigy.Fi is defined yield, on-chain. You name the price you'd buy or sell BTC or ETH at, deposit, and earn a yield that is defined the moment you subscribe. If the market reaches your price by expiry, your deposit converts at that price. If it doesn't, you keep what you deposited. You earn the defined yield either way.

Each vault is a single audited smart contract, with its terms (the yield and how it settles) fixed before you deposit. Subscribe to a vault someone else created, or create your own. The yield is paid at expiry, whether or not the swap executes.

Who it's for: you're parking idle stablecoins for yield, you want to buy ETH or BTC below today's price, or you're holding ETH or BTC and want to sell at a target.
