  1. Positions

Opening positions

You can view your open positions on the Positions tab on the bottom part of the Trade page.

Once your position has been initiated, you will have access to information regarding your position such as:

Field
Description

Leverage

Leverage alters the magnitude of your profits or losses. When you increase your leverage, the potential gains or losses on a trade for the same price movement are amplified. In other words, the higher the leverage, the greater the effect of the price movement on your account's balance.

Liquidation Price

This refers to the liquidation price of your position, which is the price point at which your position will be closed.

Unrealized P&L

This represents the comprehensive profit or loss that would be realized by closing the position. The PNL encompasses various factors such as fees, which means that the PNL is likely to be marginally negative when the position is initially opened to account for the fee incurred.

Realized P&L

This denotes the overall profit or loss generated by the position after taking into account partial closes, fees, and funding. The figure resets when the position is fully closed or if there is a change in position side (i.e., switching between long and short positions).

Average Open

This refers to the average entry price for all open positions.

Average Close

This pertains to the average exit price for all closed positions.

Net Funding

This represents the aggregate amount of funding received or paid for the current position throughout its existence. The value resets if the position is entirely closed or if there is a change in position side (i.e., switching between long and short positions).
