# Viewing your portfolio

A portfolio is a collection of financial assets held by an individual or entity. The portfolio can include a variety of different types of investments such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, EFTs, options, futures, and currencies.

The left side includes options for your Account like:&#x20;

* **Buying Power**
* **Equity**
* **Margin Used**
* **Leverage**

After choosing from your options you can either select to withdraw or deposit.&#x20;

In order to place an order, first select an instrument.&#x20;

Upon selecting an insturment on your left side panel you may then choose from your options such as:&#x20;

* **Positions**
* **Orders**
* **Fills**
