# How To Use Simple Earn

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Step 1: Choose Your Token

<figure><img src="/files/RPHN76sUpTshGbmRWao7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Go to **Simple Earn** in the top navigation. Select the token you want to deposit:

* USDC — APY range 2% to 60%
* ETH — APY range 2% to 50%
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Step 2: Pick Your Tier

<figure><img src="/files/7YYRmAqkmUkFfZ0VkqNt" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

After selecting your token, choose a tier based on your APY preference and how comfortable you are with your token being converted at expiry:

| Tier         | APY                     | Text                                                               |
| ------------ | ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Conservative | Lower (e.g., 3.1%) | Higher chance you keep your original token at expiry |
| Balanced     | Mid-range (e.g., 16.1%) | Moderate chance of conversion at expiry                            |
| High Yield | Highest (e.g., 60%) | More likely your token is converted into the other asset at expiry |

Before you commit, your two possible payoff scenarios are shown upfront, so you always know what to expect.

{% hint style="info" icon="lightbulb" %}
**Not sure which tier to pick?** Start with Conservative. You earn guaranteed yield either way, the only difference is which token you hold at expiry.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Step 3: Enter Your Amount and Confirm

<figure><img src="/files/TstHOnUtIGrACB0Uvv4y" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Type in how much you want to deposit. Your exact payoff updates in real time based on your tier and amount.

Hit **Earn Now** to confirm. Your position is live on-chain, no further action needed until expiry.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### **What Happens at Expiry?**

At the date and time shown on your tier card, one of two things happens:

* **If the price reached your target:** Your token is converted at that price, and you receive the other asset plus yield.
* **If the price didn't reach your target:** Your original token is returned, plus yield in the same token.

Either way, you earn yield. Track your active positions under [Portfolio](https://mainnet-base.prodigy.fi/portfolio).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://prodigyfi.gitbook.io/structured-yields/user-guide/simple-earn/how-to-use-simple-earn.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
