# Bridging Assets Using A Decentralized Wallet

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to bridge assets to the Base network using deBridge.

By following this guide, you can seamlessly bridge assets like ETH or USDC to Base using deBridge's bridging solution.

{% hint style="success" %}

### Prerequisites

Before starting, ensure you have the following:

1. An EVM-compatible wallet (eg; MetaMask or Rabby) configured for both the source chain (eg; Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum) and the destination chain (Base).
2. Sufficient funds: Ensure you have enough assets in your source wallet to cover the bridging amount and gas fees (ETH for Base transactions).
3. Supported assets: deBridge supports a wide range of tokens, including ETH, USDC, USDT, and more. Check deBridge’s supported assets for the latest list.

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Connect Your Wallet

* Click “Connect Wallet” and select your EVM-compatible wallet (eg; MetaMask or Rabby).
* Ensure your wallet is configured for both the source chain (eg; Ethereum) and the destination chain (Base).
